I Arch. Wassim Sami Adlouni, a major shareholder and CEO of Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants, has always been fascinated by architecture. I remember being a child and being amazed by the beauty of the buildings around me. I would often spend hours drawing my own designs, and I dreamed of one day becoming an architect. After graduating from university in Jordan, I moved to Dubai to pursue my dream. I was drawn to the city’s energy and its commitment to innovation. I saw the great potential that Dubai had for growth and development, and I wanted to be a part of it.
In 1994, I started my own architectural consultancy company with my Partner, Eng.Suhaib Al Ajmi, Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants. I was initially focused on providing architectural services for villas, but I soon expanded our services to include a wider range of projects.
My source of inspiration for venturing into this niche:
I have always been fascinated by the built environment, and I have always been interested in how buildings can impact people’s lives. I believe that architecture can be a powerful tool for social and economic development, and I wanted to be a part of it.
